"I've had the pleasure to work with Karl and his dream team on a few different projects. It's always been a remarkable combination of efficiency and initiative and a great support for creativity. Whatever the scale of the project, nothing seems to be a problem."
Karmer are a joy to work with. A very skilled, pragmatic and above all supportive team that understand, accommodate and deliver, led by a rigorous and investigative project manager experienced in a wide range of styles and commissions. Whether it is an editorial or advertising photo shoot, a music campaign, a site-specific exhibition installation or a retail environment their personal approach, intuitive understanding of clients needs and attention to detail means you can be rest assured they will be 110% with you helping and enjoying create strikingly powerful spaces, images and products.
We commissioned Karmer to produce the main signage for the exhibition Skin + Bones at Somerset House in 2008. It was a very complex design made from hundreds of meters of metal thread and acrylic pins and we worked closely with Karmer through several very useful prototype stages in order to reach the final, very beautifully executed signage. We found the whole team to be very helpful, flexible and enthusiastic, fitting into the very tight schedule of our installation schedule with ease. We look forward to working with them again.
"Karl and his crew seem to specialise in everything you throw at them, especially problem solving" -
"If I wake up and need to build a life-size house out of cardboard or have the sudden urge to make 300 large white fashion blocks turn to concrete, then I call Karmer. They can interpret and realise my designs - even if the design is a mere sketch on the back of napkin - and always deliver exactly what I want. I am their biggest fan."
